I am NOT a great fan of M$, but I think you could take a note from their book on running Beta's. I have always felt like a person in their field trials where I felt pretty close to invisible in the Notes 6 shot. I did my best to report issues, but couldn't do that to (my) optimum as the reporting vechicle made assumptions that were never explained (to me). Feedback was sporadic. Results from my reports only came clear to me when I found (a) that there was an update and (b) my testing showed my problem fixed.
MS has a consistent handshake; when I report a prob (and get a prob number) I am directly informed when it is fixed (i.e. they TELL ME there's and update and supply a list of what's fixed in it) Saves a lot of regression time.
Then, as I said before, I get a token for my time - usually (but not always) the final of the product under test.
So how DO I get the GM Notes 6 Mac client? (1 copy only)
